International audienceThe time-resolved transverse magneto-optical Kerr effect using high-order harmonics is a very promising technique to study ultrafast magnetization dynamics. Recently, it was claimed that this technique was free of any nonmagnetic artifact. Here, we show that this report was not fully supported. We propose simple additional measurements that can unambiguously demonstrate this affirmation
